Meet Malone Gates

Malone Gates, Owner & Principal of M8 Insurance has spent his career working with Veterans to help their dream of owning a home come true. Malone began his career as a loan officer specializing in VA Home loans. He then moved on to Marketing for the same VA mortgage lender, learning the ins and outs of niche marketing.

After his time in Marketing, Malone decided to progress his career by diving into the Real Estate industry. In 2011 he joined Freedom Eagle Realty. With Malone's experience, he designed automation to key pieces of the relocation process and implemented efficiencies that helped fuel the rapid growth Freedom Eagle Realty has seen over the last decade.

After years in the Mortgage and Real Estate Industry, Malone was offered the position of Chief Strategy Officer at Flagship Financial Group, which specialized in VA Refinance. Malone assisted in building out Purchase and Cash-out divisions, as well as growing and running their Affiliate Insurance Company. Through his time at Flagship, he took a liking to the Insurance business and shortly after taking a job as Director of Marketing for Intercap Lending, decided to branch out on his own. Malone started M8 Insurance to provide direct integration to mortgage companies, saving clients and lender's time and money.

Malone focuses his time on building and growing M8 Insurance, making sure all clients are provided the best service, coverage, and rates possible. While he enjoys his work, his true love is time spent with his children Ledger & Tiana, his wife Aubree, their German Shepard Bella and Golden Doodle Leo. When it comes to having fun, Malone enjoys traveling with family and friends, coaching his sons sports teams, watching his daughter cheer and playing golf & poker.

Meet Mike Pessetto

Mike Pessetto’s career has focused on developing a genuine, efficient and effective approach to customer service. He spent years working sales for his parent's family-owned business. This experience gave him a true understanding of what defines great customer service and taught him to develop a real relationship with his clients. Eventually, he decided to take these skills and apply them to a career in finance.

Mike started as a loan officer specializing in VA refinance before he began originating VA purchase loans. He enjoyed helping Veterans utilize the VA benefits they have earned through years of service to our country. Mike found great success in the mortgage business, earning a position in the “President’s Club” while working at Veterans First Mortgage as one of the top loan officers in the company.

After 6 years in finance, Mike decided to join M8 Insurance and utilize his experience and knowledge of the loan process to help provide insurance services at the highest level possible. Aside from working at M8 Insurance, Mike loves to golf, travel and spend time with his wife Avery and his two dogs, Nada and Ellie.
